Sondra Rankin is the name behind a new voice that people are starting to notice in a big way. Originally from Paducah, KY, Sondra is currently working in the hotbed of Nashville’s country music scene, combining her old school roots with a love of traditional country and the newer crossover pop country. The echoes of artists like Patty Loveless and Loretta Lynn and even the sounds of Michelle Branch and Sheryl Crow can be heard in Sondra’s soulful delivery of her music. Her live performances are full of energy and inspiration whether she’s belting it out in a roadhouse, singing the national anthem in a jam packed stadium, or thrilling audiences at the Grand Old Opry. Sondra has worked extensively in Nashville studios doing session work and appearing on several national radio and television shows. The next step for Sondra is to bring to life her aspirations of becoming a professional angler and turn into a reality, her dreams of making it as the next “woman of the outdoors”. Sondra is in the process of releasing her first single to radio titled, “The One That Got Away”, in hopes of uniting her music and tournament career into an image unmistakable to a wide variety of audience nationwide.
