Objective

            My objective is to find success on a professional level in the fishing and music industry.  I will work diligently and patiently in competition in hopes my efforts might be recognized by other young women, encouraging them to strive to the next level in the ranks of being a pro angler.  To reach children in need of a mentor and recreation, setting an example for them to follow in attempts they may gain the passions and respect for nature and habitat, as myself.  To use my voice in song and my lyrics in melody and touch the souls of all who hear.  I aspire to be the first female professional angler to ever win an FLW title event!

2001-2004 Front End Lead ~ Bass Pro Shops

Responsibilities included: scheduling, training, customer relations, and supervision.  I was a participant in extensive product knowledge courses and consistently provided assistance in sales and instruction of merchandise. 

1999-2004 Funhouse Recording Studios ~ Nashville, TN

I collaborated with other producers in music production assistance and I was the in house bookkeeper. I frequently worked as a demonstration vocalist and recruiter of new talent and songs for developmentalprojects.

I fish on a professional level on the FLW Trail. I participate in the FLW Tour, the FLW Series, and the Stren Series, along with several local and charity events. I do extensive promotional work and demonstrations for my sponsors on a continuous basis. I currently fish full-time and will continue to do so as my chosen profession. I work hand in hand with youth organizations and ministry outreach programs. I am dedicated and loyal, following my passions persistently and patiently.

Bio

            Sondra Rankin is living her dreams today casting alongside her mentors on the most prestigious competitive bass fishing circuit....The FLW Tour. She participates in each event not only to fulfill her determination to win, but to instill an appreciation in people of all ages and genders, for nature and outdoor recreation! She is motivated, driven by her loyalty to fans and sponsors, to be an accomplished, professional 'female' angler. Her primary goal is to introduce more women and kids fishing! She's helped youth catch their first fish and encouraged many mothers to spend more 'outside' time with their children and loved ones! She hosts a fishing 'reality' show on FSN, "Turn up the Bass, with Sondra Rankin", and is a single mother to a brilliant daughter, Faith Noelle. Not only will you find Sondra fishing, but she is quite at home in her hunting stand as well! She spends her off season in search of trophy whitetail bucks! Sondra is also pursuing a career in country music. She is a recording artist and demo singer working frequently in Nashville, TN, and has continued following her childhood aspirations to entertain. With a distinctive voice and extremely unique personality, thousands have already joined the 'Sondra Rankin FanClub'! She is currently recording new material, echoing her recent sounds with a slightly new style. Sondra’s soulful delivery in live performance is full of energy and inspiration. Whether she’s strumming her guitar, belting out a tune for her friends and family, singing the national anthem for an FLW field full of anglers, or delivering an intimate message to a Sunday morning congregation...you can assure she's portraying intense emotion through her song.
